Whoever came up with the saying “sticks and stones may break
my bones but words will never hurt” had to be deaf because in reality words can
hurt, I’m a firm believer that the power does rely in the tongue and if the
wrong thing is said, it can lead to death. Have you ever stop to wonder why
before some people commit suicide they write a letter? In reality words do hurt
weather its being told by your significant other that their no longer in love
with you, or your being told by someone that they hope you die or they hope
something bad happens, you may not admit it but deep down inside your soul “ if
you have one” it hurts. In sports if you try your hardest and you’re told you’re
not good enough it does something to you, now what you do after that determines
what type of person you are, do you use it as motivation to prove them wrong?
Or do you believe what they say and let it destroy you? Ladies I know for a
fact that the sticks and stones saying isn’t use in your case because when your
with someone or just meeting someone and they tell you that you need to lose
some weight, or you don’t look the same way you use to it hurts you may get to
a point where you go along your life and good man comes along and tells you
that your weight and the way use to look, or whatever happen in your past
doesn’t matter to him because he sees you for the person you really are or can
be but it doesn’t matter because some no good dude has said so many bad things
to you for so long to the point where you started believing it and its stuck in
you and no matter how sincere the good dude is no matter how much truth is in
him when he say’s none of it matters it doesn’t matter to you because you’ve
endured so much mental pain to where your convince that all men are the same and
a good man has slipped past you. “Mental
pain” I believe that mental pain is worse than physical pain, I can remember
when I would smoke instead of me putting the cherry out with an astray I would
simply use my hand now you may wonder why but I’ve endured so much mental pain
to the point where I didn’t feel physical pain, if I bumped my head or anything
like that the pain never lasted too long but if my lady told me one day that
she no longer loved me the same or in sports or life I was told that I was too
small or wasn’t good enough it would take the mental pain longer to healed and
by the way I am a good man. So the
saying should go “sticks and stones may break my bones but words hurt worse”
That’s enough for right now I just thought I’d pour out some
thoughts so until next time remember LOVE IS GOD and GOD IS LOVE and no matter
what you do in life make sure you do it CERTIFIED..
